Question by Cutie: I can’t get my blood sugar levels down. Please help!? Hi I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2007, since then I have rarely have a low reading. The lowest my blood sugar as been was 137mg/dl. I try to eat healthy even though it is really hard. My blood sugar level are often in the high 200s and 300s and at its highest 470 mg/dl. I suffer from post traumatic stress disorder, It all started when, I was 7 when and I was always a little insecure when I wasn’t around my mum, I have severe paranoia even before everything happened to me, I was very un trusting, I only trusted my mum, and she was the only person I could talk to. from about 5 or 6 I used to get very anxious when my mum went out anywhere, but I could cope with it, but sometimes I didn’t want her to go, and so when I used to chase after her, my dad just restrained me kicking and screaming and I had to wait it out, crying. I struggled to even get through finals and graduation. I’ve been trying to get my anxiety under control but it’s not. I never feel like doing anything and I constantly fear of getting sick again (nausea). I used to go to baseball/basketball/football games all the time and have a blast or go to nice steak houses for dinner and now I so don’t want any part of it because I fear ill get car sick or sick from food or overheat and feel sick. I got away to college in a little over a month and I don’t want this to ruin my future. I got into a good honors college and an important program and I’m afraid ill lose it all from anxiety.
