Tatum O’Neal Drug Abuse: How Drugs Destroy Stars’ Reputation

Endowed with outstanding talent, but many stars did not know how to preserve their reputation and then destroyed themselves with drugs. It seems that the fame has created invisible pressure and they used drugs to forget those things. Drug abuse is the main cause ruining life and career of celebrities.

 

1. Whitney Houston

As one of the leading diva in the world but Whitney Houston could not resist the temptation of drugs and gradually destroyed her own reputation. In 2000, Houston was detected while transporting drugs in Hawaii airport. Later, she was removed from the list of Grammy nominations when she could not remember the lyrics. Drugs and alcohol destroyed Houston during 6 years.

2. Jodi Sweetin

Jodi Sweetin entered the entertainment world at the age of 5. She became famous for her role as Stephanie Tanner in “Full House” series when she was only six. After divorcing, Sweetin tried drugs to avoid pressure of life.

3. Makaulay Culkin

“Home Alone” made Culkin a famous star and high paid for his role. In 2004, he was arrested for drug possession. The police found him carrying 17g marijuana, 8 pills of Xanax and 16 white round pills called clonazepam. Also, in an interview on CNN Macaulay admitted using drugs and alcohol for years.

4. Corey Haim

Teen idol of the 1980s with the role in the movie “The missing boys” and used to date with Victoria Adams. He confessed to use 85 pills of Valium a day. Corey died of drug abuse at the age of 38 on March 10, 2010 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank City, Los Angeles, California.

5. Aaron Carter

Aaron Carter always won the hearts of young girls with his handsome outlook. However, on Thursday morning (February 20, 2008) his younger brother – Nick Carter was arrested in Kimble County, Texas on suspicion of drug possession. The police found 56g of cannabis in the Cadillac Escalade that Aaron was driving. Although Aaron attempted to rebuild his name, he was never successful as before.

6. Tatum O’Neal

Tatum Oneal is the youngest Oscar winner for the title “Best Supporting Actress” with “The Paper Moon” (1973). But she used drugs when she was only 13 years old. Tatum O’Neal was addicted drugs heavily and arrested for possession and use of drugs in 2008. It can be said that Tatum’s career and talent of drug was very early destroyed.
