: Motor Control Motor Learning and Recovery – “Neurological Rehabilitation: Motor Control, Motor Learning, and Recovery” is a Seminar-on-Demand presented by Suzanne Tinsley, PhD, PT, NCS. This course focuses on an intro to neurological rehab, motor control, motor learning, recovery of function, and assessment and treatment of postural control and balance. Topics covered include identification of emerging rehab management techniques for patients with neurological dysfunction, 4 stages of motor control and 8 ways to potentiate proprioceptors, and identification and differentiation between nondeclarative and declarative forms of learning. Among other subjects, attendees will also learn to identify 3 motor strategies during perturbed stance and 5 basic components of postural control.
