Churches?
The one that I have visited here in my city seems to be to open to everyone — but this article states otherswise and presents an intriguing theory. And calles it an “Aversion Addiction”

I went to a Unitarian church for awhile and the big controversy was the effort to get rid of, or shut up this evangelical Christian who kept telling everyone they were going to hell. Eventually, the nut drifted away.

I must say as a result, I avoid all Christians socially as soon as they mention Jesus. To me, it is an indication of ignorance, prejudice and a lack of education.
