How Do I Get Put in a Mental Hospital?

Question by Sofie: How do I get put in a mental hospital?
I’m really ill, like I self harm, I have anorexia And Im sure i Have schizophrenia. I really hate going to school, because it makes me depressed, so I want to get away. I want to stay at a facility or something, because it seems lovely. I want to sleep as late as I want, get medication for my sickness, eat the same as everyone else, not have to worry about stylish clothes or makeup.
Anyway my mom is asking me to counselling so i Want to know what I have to do to convince her to suggest it. I’m 13, so I can’t admit myself.
Please answer, because I need to get some advice before I do something psycho to prove I’m crazy.
Thank you!!

You have a really distorted view of what it’s like to be in a mental hospital ” lovely”. You don’t get to sleep as late as you want, if anything you’ll get less sleep than ever. And you are going to feel more down on yourself after you become known as the girl who went into the mental hospital. There’s nothing they can do for you, that out-patient care can’t. You are seeing it as a way to escape living, and it won’t be that way. Many of them make you exercise, even though they feed terrible food. Most won’t hold you longer than a few days, unless your parents put you in a private facility which isn’t cheap! Go to counseling and see a Psychiatrist for medication, keep your room clutter free and take a brisk walk daily. You’ve got a lot of life left, start getting your head straight so you can enjoy it.
