Is There a Such Thing as a “Veterinarian Physical Therapist” ?

Question by Smylie: Is there a such thing as a “veterinarian physical therapist” ?
or is it called something else ? I’ve been told that is not a real field and I just made it up but it just makes sense that there would be some type of therapy for animals/pets. If it is a real thing , what are the courses I should look for in college ?

I’ve heard it called different things, but yes, there is such thing as a vet specializing in physical therapy.

I’m only posting this website since I have been to this massive animal hospital and got to see the physical therapy/rehab room and meet Dr. Kwong…but there are several other vets that have the same specialty. CCRT stands for Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist….so it’s certification as a “physical therapist” basically. Look into it ;) You could even email Dr. Kwong and ask detailed questions on how to become certified.
