My Back Hurts When I Lay Down?

Question by Taylor: My back hurts when I lay down?
When I’m sitting up and lay down on my back, it hurt pretty bad for…up to 30 seconds I would say. For example, when I’m doing sit ups, my back would hurt when I stopped and just lauded back down. I’ve just recently had a physical and I found out that I have scoliosis. I have a 9 degree curve which is minor. 10-15 degrees is considered minor and I’m not even 10 yet haha. So do you think that’s what could be causing it?

ps, I’m going to see a specialist soon and I’ll make sure to mention it. I’m just curious.

Try laying up instead of down

Yes that is most likely the cause of it. If not it could be just an overuse of muscles in your back. I’ve gotten the same feeling. It’s if I am standing of moving things all day. Or do a lot of work and stop to lay down.

What do you think? Answer below!
