Question by Kayla: Why are so many people against the use of marijuana? Cigarettes are legal. They kill around 400,000 people in the USA each year. Alcohol kills around 80,000 people each year. Guess how many people have died from marijuana use alone? 0. You cannot find one. There is nothing in marijuana that causes lung cancer or increases your risk. If you smoke it, it’s the smoke itself. NOT THE MARIJUANA. If you smoke around 15,000 joints in 20mins you might overdose. It does NOT kill brain cells. Studies have been done to show that it may actually stimulate your brain cells.
