Question by Man Swers: Will the Navy take me if i was diagnosed with depression?
Several doctors say it was a misdiagnoses and he was just after money, but i doubt that really matters.

If it is on your record like I believe you said, then it will most likely DQ you. What I recommend you doing, is raising this problem with your recruiter and asking to get a waiver. He will then need to take it to his commander and tell him that he believes you have overcame your depression and that he believes you capable in joining the US Navy.

So my advice to you is, make a great impression on your Recruiter and always smile. Keep a great outlook on everything and don’t show anything that might be a sign of depression. Your recruiter will be watching as it is their job to “pre-screen” you for your eligibility into the US Military.

to tell you the truth no, if you heard the name Eric Harris (columbine shooting)? he was turned down for the same thing hopefully you don’t get more depressed?
