Question by Ace: Broken Tibia help?!? I’m 14 years old and I broke my tibia about 12 weeks ago playing football. I was a good break meaning no rods, plates or, screws. I had a long cast over my knee,7 weeks after i got a shorter walking cast but i didn’t really put a lot of weight on it. i just got it off 5 days ago. When I put weight on it it hurts the bottom of my heal real bad. I also cant bend my ankle without it hurting.
